AND they’re super easy and super delicious!

Ingredients:

• 1 Small Organic Watermelon

• ½ cup Organic Feta Cheese or Goat Cheese

• ½ cup Organic Pomegranate seeds

• 1 small container of Organic Basil leaves

• your favorite Balsamic Reduction (Mine is Nonna Pia’s berry)

Ok, First step:

Cut your small watermelon into 1 ½ inch cubes.

Step 2:

Place on a cute plate or tray (I got mine from Mud Pie

Step 3:

Add a light layer of Cheese, place your Basil Leaf, throw a few Pomegranate seeds on there and drizzle your Balsamic Reduction over the Watermelon and plate….and your DONE!

Super simple, super light, super yummy, and they’re definitely a crowd pleaser!

ENJOY!

  4. Hey!

Could we replace the pomegranate with something else? It is hard to find it where I live.
This seems delicious by the way, Thank you for the recipe.

    1. Yes! You can do passionfruit seeds or crushed pistachios which are lovely because they compliment the sweet. 🙂 hope that helps!

  5. Hello!
Just discovered your blog from your Instagram! Was wondering how far in advance have you made this before serving without any negative effect on taste and texture? I don’t want to be stuck in the kitchen when my guests are over!
    Thanks!

    1. I make this appetizer all the time and one of the reasons I love it is because of how low maintenance it is. I’ve made it a half an hour-hour before guests arrive and it has lasted the whole night…well it would’ve but everyone ate it all! It can definitely be the appetizer you make first without worrying that it will spoil before your night starts.
Because it’s a cold appetizer, the only thing you want to make sure you keep a soft eye on is the cheese.
      Hope this helps!

  6. Hey Sasha! This recipe is simply inviting, in a few days I will have dinner with friends, I will make your recipe, but I wanted to ask you a tip, for me Feta is too salty as cheese, what can I use? I live in italy and the other cheese is no advice, what can I use? Thanks for all the recipes you propose, hope in your reply a kiss Carola
