Crow Stew

Just kidding…no crows were harmed in the making of this recipe!

This Stew is delicious and it’s definitely a crowd pleaser!

Serves 16-20


• 1 ½ lbs of organic potatoes of your choice

• 1-2 lbs of organic stew meat or organic sirloin steak cuts

• 4-6 chicken sausages

• 5-6 stalks of celery

• 6-8 carrots

• 1 ½-2 cups of onions

• 10 garlic cloves

• bone broth

• three 8oz containers of organic turkey or beef gravy

• ½ cup olive oil

• sea salt

• pepper

• oregano

• basil

• chili pepper

• a huge pot


Step 1:

Chop carrots and celery into 1/2 inch pieces


Step 2:

Slice beef into 1 inch cubes.


Step 3:

Slice chicken sausages.


Step 4:

Pour olive oil into a large pot and turn burner on low.


Step 5:

Add beef to pot.


Step 6:

Now add vegetables.

And mix.


Step 7:

In a medium sized pot, boil water.

Peel potatoes.

Add to pot and cook until tender.


Step 8:

Add sliced sausages to pot.


Step 9:

Add two of your three gravy containers and bone broth.



Step 10:

Add chopped onions.


Step 11:

Add seasoning and garlic cloves.


Step 12:

Add potatoes and stir.


Step 13:

Add the last container of gravy and stir.

Cover pot with lid and let simmer until meat is cooked and stew is bubbling…about an hour.

  2. Your recipe looks awesome, I will do my best to try it in the winter months if I have enough to cook for. My mum taught me how to make a great beef stew too with dumplings and I add some chorizo for flavour when I ever get time and energy to make it.
